I fell in love with running businesses when I started my very first one in 2013 — a wedding photography business. In 2017, I began freelancing as a business mentor at a university — running workshops and doing 1:1 mentoring across every business topic imaginable. And I spent nearly a decade watching small business owners hit the same walls I did — being Profitable But Broke — having the same confusions about their numbers and the same anxieties I once had. So, I decided to do something about it and went back to school in 2023 and retrained as a bookkeeper and tax accountant.
